Founder’s Story
In the heart of Jhamsikhel, Moksh Live Restaurant and Bar stands as a place where food, music, and creativity meet. It was founded by Nirakar Yakthumba, a passionate musician and a member of the legendary Nepali band 1974 AD.
From its beginning in 2002, Moksh was never meant to be just a restaurant. It was born from a simple idea, to create a space where people could feel free, inspired, and connected.

Before Moksh came to life, Nirakar had already spent years performing with 1974 AD, a band that defined a generation of Nepali music.
